I am quite satisfied with the systematic approach to my recent life. This is thanks to a mindset called "planning thinking".
Prepare everything in advance. For example,
- Before going to bed tonight, prepare the clothes and shoes you will wear tomorrow and place them by the bed;
- Wash the pots, bowls, and chopsticks right after eating;
- When going shopping in the afternoon, make a list of what you need in advance;
- Decide what to do and eat tomorrow morning before going to sleep.
After experiencing the benefits of this mindset, I want to share this wisdom with you directly. Some of the benefits I can list directly are:
- By preparing the items needed for tomorrow in advance, the excuse of procrastination in the morning won't work: "There are so many things to do, I'll just lie down a bit more, otherwise I won't have time to rest when I get up. I'll definitely be more efficient later."
- Planning ahead for what to do tomorrow will bring a sense of peace of mind, making it easier to enter a state of focused flow and thus improve efficiency. Having a compass and not having a compass, knowing where you want to go and not knowing where you want to go, the destination will be completely different in the end.
- After family meals, dishes and chopsticks are habitually piled up in various places and left unwashed until the next cooking session, resulting in a messy kitchen that affects mood and makes cleaning more difficult. When I'm at home, I wash the dishes immediately after eating, so every time I enter the kitchen, I don't feel tired due to clutter or difficult cleaning.
- (It can be understood as eliminating the "potential problems caused by not cleaning in time" in advance)
Doing things in advance may seem like a "common sense" and "well-known" principle. But in fact, the wisdom that has the greatest impact on people is often the least secret-like secret.
To Do...
The above is what I most wanted to record this week.
